Frequently Asked Questions:

What does Opaqueware do?
Opaqueware provides online service and software applications that enabled users to encrypt or decrypt a variety of data including emails, files or any web's content.

How is Opaqueware differ from other encryption softwares?
Our service and software enables anyone to send encrypted materials to anyone without having to worry about exchanging passphase or secure key.
Most others encryption softwares required a fixed password key that you must find a safe way to exchange between the senders and the recipients. Some required an expensive digital certificate, and it can only be use in a specific computer device where it was installed. Opaqueware solved these issues with our patent pending technology. We provide users with access management of the encrypted materials between senders and recipients.

How secure is the encryption?
Opaqueware uses the latest and one of the most secured encryption algorithm, 256-bits Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), currently available for commercial use. Each piece of data is encrypted with a unique key to provide extra security. Only you and users designated by you at the time of encryption have access to the key. This unique key and the encrypted data are not stored on Opaqueware servers.

Do I need to download any software?
You don't need to download any software to use our encryption service. Opaqueware provide our registered users with 'eJumble', an online encryption tool, that work with most web broswers and computing devices.
However, to utilize all the features that Opaqueware provide, you may optionally install one of the many softwares to come for a more integrated experience.

Is any of my data being sent to the servers.
No, none of your data is being trasmitted to any where during the encryption process. The encryption is done in place on your own computer device. Our servers has no awareness of what material you are encrypting. We simply provide access and key management.

Privacy concerns.
Users privacy is our number priority. We do NOT track, store or process any user's data. We do NOT share any accounts information with any third-party company. In fact, we don't even store your real password in our servers, only that the hash of your password is stored. Your sensitive account info such the password(hash) is encrypted in our database servers to ensured user privacy.

Why do I need this service?
Information transmitted over the internet are not as safe as most think. For example your emails could be intercepted by your employer or your internet provider, and any of the content could be stored and read by others who has access to the email serves. An encrypted message could not be read by anyone else other than youself and/or the designated users by you.
